The most common crocodile at Kruger is the Nile Crocodile. These fearsome hunters sit right on top of Kruger's food chain. They have been known to hunt and kill big cats such as the leopard.

One of the few places one can still see a Rhino in the wild. These amazing creatures have been driven into extinction by man's ignorance and selfish needs.

She waits for her next client in Tijuana, a border town close to the US/Mexico border. Tijuana is a short drive for some Americans who cross over to party in the tourist town. US laws prohibit persons under 21 to consume alcohol. Most drive to Tijuana, where prohibition is non existent.

A Sri Lankan soldier carries a Tamil child away from the conflict zone on May 17 2009. Thousands of civilians had been held against their will by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam as a human shield. The child is not accompanied by family members. Perhaps another orphan of this brutal war which lasted from 1982 to 2009.
The Tamil extremist waged war on successive elected governments, in order to carve out a mono-ethnic state for Tamils. They claimed to be fighting discriminatory laws, and for equal rights for Tamils. However, records indicate that any Sri Lankan government law or policy, which was deemed to be discriminatory, had been changed prior to the Tamil Tigers' existence. The Tamil Tiger movement's propaganda wing was tasked with making the movement appear as a liberation movement.

Not quite.. The Orion Nebula is about 1500 light-years away from us (a mere 8.8 trillion miles), which makes it relatively close on an astronomical scale, allowing us to study in detail its structure. The Milky Way galaxy is about 100,000 light-years across, and so not only is Orion in our galaxy, it is in our section of the galaxy.[Source]
This is an actual image. Not a painting. In one of the most detailed astronomical images ever produced, NASA/ESA's Hubble Space Telescope captured an unprecedented look at the Orion Nebula. ... This extensive study took 105 Hubble orbits to complete. All imaging instruments aboard the telescope were used simultaneously to study Orion. The Advanced Camera mosaic covers approximately the apparent angular size of the full moon. [Source]

I took this in Sri Lanka. I just can't recall where. In case you can't read Sinhalese, the sign is universally understood.
